Lescure : Authentic bistro, close to place de la Concorde, opened in 1919. Serves good food (specialities from Limousin) at reasonable prices. Efficient, special service by Bernard.
Le Quincy : The colourful owner Michel Bosshard, known as Bobosse, serves fabulous regional specialities (from Burgundy, Berry and Ardèche) in his bistro close to the Gare de Lyon.
l’Avant-Goût : Adorable neo-bistro close to place d'Italie, serving a delicious pork casserole elbow-to-elbow with other diners. Original, inexpensive wine list.
Chez la vieille : A not-to-be-missed lunchtime classic (dinner on Thursdays only) in Les Halles. Simple, delicious, good plain cooking (terrines, stuffed tomatoes, etc.).

The bistros we have selected for you are informal, simple, friendly and often inexpensive places. You'll eat at close quarters with other diners in a lively atmosphere. Chez Paul : Popular French bistro thanks to the excellence of its old-style setting and its cooking, close to place de la Bastille. Noisy and festive, very handy for dinner after a performance at the Opéra Bastille.

The market on rue Poncelet: all the charm of a traditional market
Just a few minutes' walk from the Hotel Raphael you'll find one of the main outdoor markets in western Paris, on rue Poncelet. Bakers, fishmongers, a roast meat stall, cheese seller, confectioner and more. Open Tuesday to Sunday inclusive, 7 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm.

Department stores
The concierge has cards entitling guests to a 10% discount valid in each of the two department stores below, on presentation of a foreign passport at the tills. This is in addition to your export rebate of 12%.

Please note that the excellent men's and women's hairdressing salon Sophie Gatto adjoins the Hotel Raphael and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Manicures and pedicures are also available. Our concierge is at your service to make your appointment.

Our Clefs d’Or team of concierge works in conjunction with the main international courier firms (including DHL, Fedex, UPS and Chronopost). We can provide you with all the forms and different types of packaging required for your outgoing mail. Our service operates 24/7 so your mail can be dispatched and received with the utmost flexibility.

Theme Parks

Parc Astérix
Parc Astérix, dedicated to the famous Gaul, is a huge adventure playground in the heart of the countryside, 30 km from Paris. The theme park includes the Gallic village, the lake estate, the Roman empire, Ancient Greece, the Middle Ages and old Paris, and offers over 60 different entertainments, including thrilling attractions lke the famous Thunder of Zeus for young and old alike, as well as great shows and a host of surprising events.
